*** Ms. Amanda is from the United States and has danced since she was 6 years old. She trained strictly in ballet until she was 16 years old and then began to learn more about contemporary and modern dance. She graduated from Southern Methodist University in 2013 with a Bachelors degree in Dance Performance (and an additional degree in Anthropology) – which she later used to work and teach children and teenagers in Texas. She taught children and teens in Texas for three years before moving to Latvia in 2016 and teaches in Happy Dance Studio since then. She loves to work with kids and excite beginners about the beauty of dance and approaches her classroom with a holistic view of dance, the child and the many things they can learn from the art form. Amanda is also a TBRI practitioner and trained to work with children from all backgrounds. ***
