Kids

Our new dance season for kids will start in September! This year we offer two levels of dance for children in age of 6-9 and 10+ in English language.

FOR THE BEGINNER KIDS (ages 6 to 9) – INTRO TO DANCE COURSE

Mondays 17:45-18:30, @ Lačplēša street 37, 4th floor, Riga, LV-1011

Classes begin September 5th and will end for the winter break on December 12th.

This class is an excellent place for young dancers interested in learning classical ballet technique and creative movement. The class structure is fun, playful, and accessible to dancers of all interest levels. Whether you have a little one who wants to be a professional ballerina or just wants to practice their coordination skills they will find a comfortable place in this classroom.

The cost for the Fall dance term is 160 euros. However, due to the possibility of covid restrictions we recommend dividing the payment into monthly installments of 40 euros to simplify things for yourself should restrictions start. For this age group, no online classes will be offered. Meaning, if restrictions kick in this class will be paused until it is once again allowed to gather in person.

We will follow the guidelines recommended as they are announced by the SPKC and do our best to communicate with you directly.

FOR THE INTERMEDIATE KIDS (ages 10+) – INTERMEDIATE DANCE COURSE

Thursdays 17:45-19:00 @ Lačplēša iela 37, 4th floor, Riga, LV-1011

Classes begin September 8th and will end for the winter break on December 15th.

This class is for dancers with previous experience and willing to explore both classical ballet and modern dance technique. Every week the technique will be switched between the two so that your dancer can experience the full range of the technique throughout the season.

The cost for the Fall dance term is 240 euros. However, due to the possibility of covid restrictions we recommend dividing the payment into monthly installments of 60 euros to simplify things for yourself should restrictions start. Depending on the restrictions this age group would transition to online classes. Meaning a change in price. We would communicate any changes in price and location ahead of time.

We will follow the guidelines recommended as they are announced by the SPKC and do our best to communicate with you directly.
